On MySuperSweet16.com, a community site tied to the network's insanely popular show, teens can create party pages and profiles which lead you behind the scenes as they prepare for their most important coming-of-age celebrations. MTV wanted to create a stand alone web offering that would tie together the community of viewers and provide an outlet for their personal stories. Killswitch guided MTV through the development process, outlining site objectives and CMS goals, and was able to provide a dynamic user experience not only for the Mysuperweet16 user, but also for the administrators on the site. The site is a custom Ruby on Rails application that combines our unique knowledge of the ROR framework and the objectives of the client, to bring into alignment the overall goals of MTV. Killswitch also developed a custom flash map, providing users with the ability to search by location.
